Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, self-critical, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. You may know something needs to change but feel unsure where to begin—or feel overwhelmed by the idea of looking inward at all. In my work, I view anxiety and emotional pain not as flaws to eliminate, but as meaningful signals that can point toward resilience, unmet needs, and the possibility for growth. Our work together is grounded in self-compassion, not shame, and focused on helping you move forward with greater clarity and steadiness.
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship strain, life transitions, and complex emotional dynamics. With individuals, our work often focuses on patterns of attachment, self-criticism, and relational expectations that shape how you experience yourself and others. With couples, I attend closely to how each partner’s history and emotional patterns interact within the relationship itself. Whether you are working to improve communication, rebuild trust after infidelity, explore sexual or emotional intimacy, navigate cohabitation or marriage, adjust to a major stressor, or consider separation, we will examine the stories you hold about yourself and one another—and work to reshape them in ways that foster understanding and connection. This work is grounded in thoughtful, collaborative couples therapy.
While our work is rooted in the present, I recognize how culture and past experiences continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate. I take a collaborative, flexible approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs and informed by your feedback. My role is to offer a thoughtful, engaged space where we can identify what is getting in the way, clarify what matters most to you, and define meaningful measures of progress.
